Dunne the evening...half a. gale had blown from "the ,nprt)wvest,, and , the . wind; blew with groat violence through the Skeleton, walls of the iiotel; ;.■■•' A few minutes beforo 8.30 pm a huge bcaiii, about SO feet long, and 12 inciies by ,12 inches, crashed through tho roof having fallen apparently from tho scaffolding or supports of tho standing walk. There were two men and tho barman in the bar They were .not injured, and made their escape as quickly as possible. ■
