'Anna B. Hastings, who- is- not- yot. five, painted an 'explorer entering Red Book Land through an' avoniie of chrysanthemums.. . ..A remarkable, picture -'came from' Phyllis Buckland, tho fourteen-year-old daughter of tho vicar of East Mailing., '• One day Phyllisfound a haro, which had cut its leg to tho .bone. She released-the wounded animal, and with marvollous fidelity has painted the look of . suffering iii its eye. .',
