GOOD RESULTS OF THE DROUGHT.

Many Wairarapa farmers are already expressing the opinion that tho_ late drought is proving some sort of a'blessing. Pastures aro showing wonderful growths, and rape croi)s are . more forward than .they have ever been in any corresponding time in previous 3, years. Those who have turnip crops express themselves as well-satisfied with them. Mr. W. Perry, who is possibly 'due of tlio if mos t observant farmers in tho whole Of New il Zealand, informed our Wairarapa correspondent that in his opinion a very ( drv season was what tho land had badly required for some tim'e. Tho dairy factories are receiving such satisfactory milk supplies that they will probably continue in working order to tho end of this month , as in previous , years; and in the stock market, store sheep .
