The departure of the steamer Ayrshire for' London has been fixed for 1 p.m. on Thursday. Tho Toroa is due from Lyttelton to-day, with a load of bricks for Gisborne. She will sail again to-morrow. The training ship Amokura, bound from Auckland to Wellington, via Napier, passed East Cape at midday yesterday. Tho local agents of the Shaw-Savill Company advise that the Maori is expected to arrive from Auckland on Saturday ovening. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Rakaia is due' at Wellington on Friday, and is to sail for the Bluff on Saturday. Tho destination of the Komata was altered yesterday, and it was decided to despatch the vessel direct to Dunedin, instead of back to Westport. ' The Talune, fruit-laden, from Fiji, is expected to arrive from Auckland about 4 o'clock ' this afternoon. The vessel is to go on to Westport from Wellington. Captain Kennedy has rejoined the Mapourika and Captain Stewart is to transfer to the Patcona, relieving Captain Aldwell, who is to stand by the Penguin in tho meantime. The Hincmon, ■ according to advice received by tho Marino Department,' was at Auckland yesterday. Tho Tutanekai went out yesterday to attend to the lighthouses at Pencarrow and Somes Island. • The Federal-Ilouldcr-Shire liner Surrey loaded the following cargo at Lyttelton :—For Liverpool—lß,63o carcasses mutton and lamb. For Avonmouth—so carcasses mutton, 398 boxes sheep's hearts, 702 oases cheese. For Glasgow— 2V5 carcasses mutton, 7Gi boxes beef, 110 dumps tow, 130 cases cheese,.
