THE WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. A meeting of tho committee of the \Vo\ lington Association was hold last night, Sir. R. \V. M'Villy occupying the chair, y , It was agreed to accede to the request-of Mr. Tom Burrows, that the members should extend their patronage and support'to his: onduranco test of club swinging. . Consideration of the programmes to ba presented at tho tournaments on, July 13 and September 1 was deferred until next week. Tho Noiv Zealand Boxing Council wrota ' stating that] its annual meeting would, ba held at_ Christchurch on May 8. As the nominations for _ the committee consisted solely of tho sitting members—viz.,- Messrs.' •• C. T. Aschman, C.' J. Cooper, J. R. Evxns, J. F. Grierson, l'\ W. Johnston, A. R. Kirk and J. 11. Ollivor—no ballot would be nccca sary.
