A DAIRY SCHOOL DIFFERENCE.
THE RESIDENCE SITE. Some difference of opinion was expressed at yesterday's meeting of the Manawatu A. and P. Association's' committee over the giving of a section for the erection of a residence in connection with the Dairy School. , . Several members stated that they'had promised a sito for the school, but it . came as a surprise packet to find that they were to find a site for a residence in Pascal-Street. Mr. Jacob said he had no recollection of , such a promise. The Ground Committee had no power to give away one of the,.most'.valuablo sections at the.', rear of . thdir grounds which might bo required for show . purposes later. He would like to have-the. matter reconsidered.- • ' Mr. Wheeler agreed.. Mr. Cohen said the' Government should bo met in every possible way. : : v Mr. Dunk said that ;Mr; 'Singleton went • away with the impression that ' the extra • - section would be'given.
