RIFLE SHOOTING.
PONGAROA v. MAKURI. ' . The return match between the Pongaroa Biflo Club and tliq Makuri Rifle. Club was .fired on ■ tho Pongaroa Range on Easter Monday, and re-, suited in a win for' Pongaroa by '42 points. The conditions were seven rouiids each at 200, 500, anil GOO yards, ■ with' an optional sighter. The weather was on the'whole fairly .favourable, although the light was poor. The members of tho Fongaroa Club also'-competed for a trophy, concurrently with the match shoot. The following are'tho match scores:— . •PONGAROA. ' '
