There was a quiet wedding at the' ProCathedral . yesterday afternoon/' when Miss Earla Brojriner was married to Mr. Juliaai Christophers, soil of Mr. A. . Christophers, manager/of tho Bank of ,;Ncw South .Vales, luvercargill.' The ceremony was. performed! by the Rev. T. H. Sprott. The brido woro a pretty frock of,white lace, with bridal Veil and wreath, ajid sho carried a shower bou-quet.--.Her sisters, Miss Yso and Miss Violet Brem'uer, who were her bridesmaids, wore frocks of white muslin, and carried bouquets of heliotrope flowers'. Mr. -Denniston uit-h----bertson, of luvercargill; was best man, and Mr. T; Fitzgerald acred as groomsman. After tho wedding a reception was held at tho homo of-tho bride's mother- in-Tinakori Road. > The following jottings'" aro to' hand from Masterton: —Mrs. 'Morrison, matron of the Master ton. Mrs.,'Gra'oe,: of Carterton, is-at present in Wellington. ; A pretty' marriiga was solemnised at All Saints' Church,''Palmerston North, on Monday, when Mr. Eric Stanley Pees, of Palmerston North, was'married ta Mies Gertrude May ' Gascoigne,second daughter of Mr.- C. Gascoigne;-of Palmerston North.; Tho, ceremony was performed by the Rev.'C. C. Harper, vicar of All; Saints. Tho brids was in soft'white silk, With veil and orange'blossoms. Her, sister,< Miss Adtjie Gascoigne, and Miss Dorothy Pees,, sister of the bridegroom, acted as bridesrifaids. They wore smart cream Eton costumes,- and white felt hats trimmed with cocjues feathers and pale blue glaco silk. The bridegroom, was attended by Mr. Charles Pecs ss best man, and Mr. Sidney Gascoigne, as groomsman. After the ceremony the guests •were' ll entertained at luncheon at tho residence of Mr. and Mrs. C. Gascoigne. M.P., was married :• to Mr. Harry Somers • Gulliver, assistant Town' Clerk of-Auckland. The Rev. Qi C. Harper officiated. The bride wore a smart cream', tailor-nlado cloth costume trimmed with gold and cream lace. Her hat was of cream corded -silk,-with two largo cream feathers,and touches of gold. She. carried a handsome/shower -bouquet, and~a whito Morocco Bible. - Misses Riki and'Lcuq Wood, -little sisters' of tip bride,' acted as bridesmaids. They' wore white, silk frocks with "pale blue glace silk, Dolly Varden hats,-and carried quaint nosegays with blue, ribbons. The bride was given away by; her father. Mr. William Wood, jun., was best man. The wJdding' festivities at the residence of the bride's parents were confined to the family. Mr. and' Mrs. Gulliver left for Auckland by the Northern express.

Yesterday, afternoon, at. Vivian Street Baptist Church, Miss Violet'Lonsdale, daughter of Mx. J. Lonsdale, of Bidwell Street, was married to Mr. A. N. Proctor, of Christchurch. The' Rev. J. J. North performed the ceremony.: The bride-was' attended by her two sisters,: Miss Winifred and Miss Kathleen Lonsdale, and the Rev. A. W.Pitt acted, as .best man.-. After , the wedding a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents in Bidwell Street. :.

At All Saints' Church, Palmerston North, on Easter Monday, , Miss Elsie Flyger, eldest daughter of Mr. H. T. Flyger, of "Riverlca," Fitzherbert, was married to Mr. A. K. Drew, county clerk, Sandon, second son of Mr. Alfred Drew, of, Palmerston North. The Rev. C. C. Earner officiated. Miss Doris Flyger and Miss, Elsie Drew were the'bridesmaids: Mr., H; P.-8.-Drew] jbest man; and Mr; J. Barclay,, groomsman., - The " Wedding March " was- played by Mr. A. Drew. - A reception was held subsequeiitly.
