After visiting Melbourne arid Sydney, they are ccniing on to.New Zealand, and are to pro-, ccei back to London by the same steamer.
Mr. Murdoch M'Lean, of tho firm .of contractors which is to pierce the Otira tunnel, arrived back at Auckland from London on Sunday. Somo of the machinery ordered by Mr. M'Lcan when at Home has • already come to hand, and consignments are arriving by each direct steamer. There are between 200 and 300 men at work at Otira; at present, ' The death is recorded from Auckland of Mi\ Harold Light, an organist of considorablo talent, and a son of Mr. William Light, of this city. As a boy ho showed extraordinary musical talent, and lias on many occasions given organ recitals in Nelson, Wellington, and other towns. Mis musical education was completed in London, where ho was admitted as a Fellow of tlio Guild of Organists. Latterly lid has been acting as organist to the Pitt Street Methodist Clinch (Auckland), whero his musical gifts were grpa% appreciated. Mr. Light was only twenty-fivo years of ago.
