Notwithstanding the adoption of ; nolicense at Oaniiiru, with the'consequent loss if revenue, the Borough Council, while making more ample provision for improvements, lias resolved to reduce the rates by 3d. in the pound. The Council has been enabled to do this by the expansion of revenue from all'sources.' 1 ' . •
