' . ANNUAL'MEETING. : , The.annual mooting of shareholders of'the Wellington Opera' House Company, Ltd., wa6 lipid in the social hall of tlio Opera Houso yesterday afternoon. Mr. W. C. Gasquoiho, chairman of ; directors,; presided, and tliero was a sninll attendance of sharoholders. . Tho, annual report.and balance-sheet (details of which have already appeared in our columns) wero adopted. In tho report tlio directors recommended that a dividend of 12-J per cent, bo declared, and. that the usual bonus of £105 to the directors 1» awarded. During tho year;a sum-of £265 lis. 2d. had, be«n expanded on alterations and improvements, a,nd it was" considered. .probable that no further expenditure" in this direction would bo necessary for some, time to oome. .. Tlie retiring directors, tlio Hon. Hamilton Gilmer, .M.L.CJ., and Miv.'W. H.-P.-Barber, M.l'., wero re-elected. . . As a leaso of tho Opera Houso on satisfactory terms had been, granted to.- Mr. J.
