The Now bowlers played thoir second and final game agaiiißt South Auson tho Adelaide Oval. As the visitors liad to catch the afternoon traiii for Melbourne at 4.30 p.m., the game was. begun at 1.30, and was limited to 21 ends. The weathfcr was dull with a fow spots of rain, which made the couch grass stand up, and tho greens were not quito- keen eiiough for the visitors, although thoy; played truly! Walker and Hain met again, and the South Australian again won. Thoy had a fiiio tus'sh, which was. even until towards tho finish, when. Walker got a fiver, which won for him by that majority: Hain and Thompson (New Zealand) both played;well against a strong rink. , Clarence Moody got an initial break of ten o.i Goldstein (Now Zealand), who recovered somo points and then wont to the bad again. Maynard (New Zealand) played several' good sliots, but Goldstein was clean off colour, and could nover get the stiength of tho green. Hodgort led Bcntloy (New Zealand) a merry dance. Tho'New Zealand skipper iyas unwell, but Smith did good work for him. Hill, who had a good all round team, had a close go with Bishop (Now Zealand), whoso mon played well. ' Walsh' was always in the lead against All-' j mitt's rink (Now, Zealand), in which the captain, with saving shots, was tho most conspicuous player. ; During thoir rush vißit tha New Zealanders had a busy time, and thoy aro delighted that they changed ; their itinerary to include Adelaide.
