John Hill began quickly against Goldstein, and on the fifteenth end was 10 up. Tho Dominion captain saved magnificently, and, finishing with two twos, mado a tie. Allnutt (N.Z.) always had a lead, over Moody, who, however, reduced it at the finish. Allnutt was several times x saviour, .of his.'sido with drawing shots. Waddell and Walsh (the local singles champion) were never far apart. In the last end, Neave (N.Z.) drew a toucher, and Bishop (N.Z.) got a good second, which Walsh failed to move.
