TWELVE ENTRIES. ' . The ' annual. choss championship tournament,; organised by the New. Zealand Chess Association, of which Mr. Justice Dennistoh is President, will commence i:i the Mayor's Room, Town ■ Hall, at 11 \ a.m." on Easter Monday. . The. tournament will be formally opened by tho.Mayor,(Hon T. W. Hislop), and- will probably last for fa 'week. "Play will commence daily at 11'' a.m.j 'alid conclude at ; lo\p.m.'. The prizes will be trophies, the first, prize ( being at £20. " A spccial prize for the most brilliant ghmo'will also be presented. The'entrants are as follow:— ' ' ■ , :• M.
