ST.'PAUL'S DORCAS SOCIETY.
Tho St. Paul's'Dorcas'Society, which held its annual meeting last week, docs a great deal of charitable work among the poor of the parish. It meets every;week, to work for the. poor, and every month there is a coir.raitteo meeting, at which arrangements are.made for relief. In addition to this, members •of tho Society 'visit regularly among their 1 clients. Last year 306 garments wero made by the Society, and most of these were giv-en away, 'the rost being sold at cost price. Last year's officers wero re-elected at the ani.uai meeting. They are—Mrs. T. H. Sprott, president; Mrs. Newman and Miss Ccates, vice-presidents; Mrs'.. Roby Carter, secretary and treasurer; and a committed consisting of: Mesdames Warren, Edwin, A. I'earce, Powles, B. Wilson, Stowe, Medland, and Lamach... ' . .
