Thcro wero present: Tho Hons. C. C. Bowen and Dr. Collins, Professors J.-Mac--millin Brown, J. R. Brown, and R. J. Scott,. Revs. A. Cameron and W. A. Evans, Messrs. Gcorgo Hegben und H. F. Von Htast. EXHIBITION SCHOLAR. The first business was tho citation of tho Exhibition Science Research. Scholar for tho year. The examiners in England had-.bsen unablo to dccirlq between the two candidates —Mr. A. M. Finlayson, M.Sc., of Dunidin, and Mr. D. E. Hansen, B.Sc., of .Auckland. After a lengthy discussion it was resolved, that tho scholarship bo awarded to Mr. Finlayson. THE DEGREES.
