G. Wilson) said the Hospital Board had promised when the new iving was finished tc take up the question of an operating theatre. While wonderfully'good work had been done in the: past it was recognised that the stall was inadequately treated in the matter ol accommodation for operations. Plans had been prepared for an operating theatre which, although of an. unpretentious character, would provide accommodation cnual to that of any hospital in the Dominion." The chairman pointed out that the question of' a -(shelter for consumptives was also a. pressing one'.
