On Saturday Lord Plunket will lay the foundation-stone of the new Petono Technical School, and afterwards he will proceed, to Cliristcliurch. He will return to Auckland about the 17th inst. Captains Gathorne-Hardy• and Lyon, A.D.C.'s, will accompany His Excellency as far as Hawera, whero they will remain for a week's fishing.
