Mr. P. Court, .of Waikakeke, ,'near. Carterton, has the record whoat yield in the"\VairaTapa (writes our. correspondent). Ho sowed IS acres with Tuscan seed, and'threshed from tho field 732 bushels, while there was 30 ton 13cwt. of pressed straw. The wheat ■' was sown oil river soil, which was shiugly in places.
