The reports' indicate'"that in ! .all parts 'of' the country a large "trade is being: done'in : storo ..'sheep, but;:thc-level, of value ;is-much lower -than, had teen anticipated, the .demand which .would have.been created by'tho re-„ 'ncwed growth' iif ' feed being • apparently counterbalanced,..by the fall in "the price of wool. Good young ewes are selling' afr prices which, are about 3s. to 4s: .lower than .thoso of the same period of last year. But aged owes 'are only ■ saleable fit' a. much greater discount. Wethers and lambs ; in a forward condition which can be fattened this season are selling ; at prices somewhat hiiher than "are warranted considering the . fall in the valuo of,'wool and pelts.
