Tho score was level at the fourth end. At the eighth Smith scored- six, and increased tho lead to 11 at tho fifteenth end. : Allnutt scorod 3 at the next ond, and then 4. At tho 24th end tho score was 18 —24. Smith added C at the last end.. StreifF, Shaw, Scoullar, Mason, 27.; Neave, Maynard, Coltman, Goldstono, 28. The Victorians led by o at the ninth end, then failed to score, at 6 onds, when tho score was 14 — 22. There was even'play on both sides to 'the end. ■ < Oliver, Trickpt, Wright, Waxman, 11; Wallace, Manning, Findlay, Hain, 34. The latter boat Waxman, '.who is. one of the Victorian champions, all along tho line. The Victorians failed to score up to tho fifth end, when Hain had twelvo by.fino. play.Waxman never had a chance, the scores being at tho'twelfth 'end 4—lß, at tho eighteenth 7—26, at the :fcwenty-first 7—33.
