If the Government is to remain representative of tho wishes of different classes of the people we need either shorter Parliaments or some better system of representation than the choice of a party nominee, which is offered at present. Othorwise we shall have democracy expressed by an executive tyranny, jn placo of democracy working through a parliamentary Journal^
