- FARMERS' COMPLAINTS. GOVERNMENT;AND SEED-TESTING. Our Auckland correspondent telegraphs that, in connection with complaints of farmers as to inferior seed being supplied to them, tho "Herald" says the Government should take suchv action.-'as' : will;• tend ,to suppress tho evil"in all its ramifications', and to protect alike honest growers, honest'dealers} and honost buyers. This might, best be done by establishing a system of seed-testing in connection with the; Bureau of Agricultural Information,'which is, to bo established by tho' Agricultural Association, but, however it is done, prompt and decisive steps should be adopted.
