There will tie a matinee to-day, when children will be admitted at half the usual prices. .-■ THE ROYAL PICTURES. .V A large atidienco witnessed the biographic display at His Majesty's Theatre last night. Various views of interest', and humour wero projected in quick succession, and the entertainmont gavo great pleasure to patrons. Tonight pictures entirely.-different to last -week will bo unreeled, and in the afternoon f a matinee, at which every, child receives a present, _ ivill be given. The . result of tho Limerick will bo announced at the Theatre on Monday night. / HERBERT FLEMMING SEASON. . To-night, theatre-goers will have an opportunity of enjoying the performance of a comedy of unusual .excellence. ".The plummy and the Humming Bird" is a four-act .play by Isaac Henderson, of , a type which requires for its successful production a company of a good deal more than average ability. The comedy had a most successful run at Wyndham's Theatre, in London. Following upon the production of "Tho Mummy and the Humming Bird," there will be staged tho dramatised version. of Locke's fine novel, " The Morals of Sir Marcus Ordcyne." The book, itself is almost a classic, excelling, as it does, in construction. and literary elegance. Its story easily adapts itself to successful dramatisation, tho situations being very well worked /nit by the author. A synopsis of tho book has already been given in 'our columns.- Tho play will run for four nights only. ORGAN RECITAL. On Wednesday afternoon ' next Mr. J. Maughan Bamett will give another, recital at the Town Hall. Tho programme is a very fine selection. ' including Handel's overture'■ to "Xerxes." Saint-Saons' "Lc'Cygnc," Bach's "Prelude and ■' Figure in G," Gnilmant's "Adagio," " Padorewslci's' " Minuet,"; Rubinstein's " Toreador et , Andalouso," and. Leramons' "Fanfare." Mr. Barnctt mil also play, a "Berceuse" composed by himself. A social, organised by tho: Misses Fell, was held in thoMasonic Hall last evening, to raise funds for the site ;of the new Unitarian Church.
