(BY TgLEGItAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Blenheim, March 25. The Hons. R. M'Nab and C. H. Mills met the Marlborough Cook Memorial Committee at Ships' Covo, and participated in the selection of a site for the monument which is to mark Captain Cook's landing-place and rendezvous. The Minister, with Mr. Ritchie, also inspected the colony of Angora goats, on Moturoa Island,'opposite the covo at Picton, and at Blenheim' the Minister took part in the .reception of tho crews which 'were successor at the .championship regatta at •Napier. To-morrow morning, ho will inspect Wairau and Opawa fords on tho main Blon-hoim-Nelson road, which the residents of tho district seek to-havo bridged, and ho will then go on to Soddon to inspect tho Starborough Settlement and adjoining lands, proceeding through Flaxbourne and on to Christalnirch. 11 This is the Minister's first journey along this route,' which is the route of tho South Island trunk railway.
