FRESH AGITATION. Tho Wairarapa School Committees' Assosiation is. rnakingal'rosli'endeavour to obtain jomo .satisfactory settlement of tho question, of .uniformity in school books, • and lias addressed copies of the following resolutions to tho.mcnibors of,.tho'Wellington Education Board, and also to tho Minister . for Education:—.: (1.) " That tho Minister be again re-,..., ; Bppctfully urged by this' Association, to.; ."' provide uniform school books, and supply, them to parents at cost price." (2.) ".That,this Association protests/ most strongly against itho frequent and unnecessary of school books, and ■ • claims-that committees, have'a . right to be consulted 'before- any such changes,-:;'. ■ so much ; affecting • the,-, wolfafe of tho' ;-. schools,- aro made." .• -. The matter will probably, coiiic up for discussion by 'the Wellington Education Board at-its:meeting to-morrow.
