Slater—-110 Unions, comprising , !3i033 members. .. Mr. 'jVl'Cullotighj .therefore, had a majority ®f .thCj.lfcjons, but -Mr. Slater had a majority of the jiiismbers/represented. . If, however, ,"1 the imfbrmal '.votes are' added (which include ( the railway'votes) the result is as follows:— Mr. M'Ciiilougli—l4l Unions, comprising ' 10,041 members; Mr. i Slater—ll9 Unions, comprising 14,645 "mcmliers. Tho employers' representative, Mr. S. Brown,- was returned unopposed.
