Rowley's team beat ,a team selected by Mr. J. W. Collins. Blackball : Handicap Race, 220yds.—J. Saxon, 1.

Married Women's Race, 75yds.—Mrs R. A. Bolland, 1.

' Hat and Gloves Race,' 75yds.—Miss R. Ritson, ]. .'

Boot and Coat and Thread the Ncedlo'Race, 100yds.—T.Tyree,!. '

Egg and Spoon Raco (for ladies), 50yds.— Miss .C. Farmer, 1.

Nail Driving Competition (ladies).—Mi6s V, Saxon, 1. '

Chain Stepping Competition.—P. V. Rowley, 1. Consolation Race (for ladies) —Mrs. J. W. Collins, 1. s A cricket match, Ladies v. Gentlemen, was also played. The picnic proved a most enjoyable function.
