Si.fitter and Sons.,-In class 232; lambs" for freezing for' tho' London - marked, longrw'oolled, the judging to, some extent varied from the-local decisions.- Mr.-J. A.-Mitchell (Longburn) secured first prize for : a pen which-was second at Palmerston, and second prize ■ for a pen; which was third- hero. :• Mr. G. II- Elliott' (Havelock) was third with a -pen- which was first in Palmerston North. :In class 283, Dowii or' Down-crosses, for freezing for the London market, the judging in the looal pons is- fairly, well borno out at 'Homo. Sir. W. Richmond's (Ilongotea) sheep, sccond here,-were first'at Horn?. Mr. Richmond's pen, first- hero, .were. second at Homei Mr..J. A. Mitchell's entry, unplaced at Palmerston, were placed third at London. The lambs realised 14s. net at Palmerston, 'the Gear Company not- charging any' commission. v.
