POLICE CASES. (Before Mr. W. G; Riddell, S.M.) A middle-aged woman, Clara M'Donald, with two previous convictions against her, was fined 20s. for drunkenness, with an alternative of seven days' imprisonment; Tho accused, who had been arrested, on the Manawatu Station, appeared to be in a state of collapse. .
James Van Borssnm was charged with using threatening behaviour in Tory Street on Wednesday. The charge was tho outcomo of a row in an liotel bar, .which was continued in tho street. A fine of 205., or seven days' imprisonment, was recorded.
