(BY. TELEGRAPH—SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.) . Qreymouth, March 18. Thoro wore no negotiations to-day. Tlio unionists reiterate tlioir dissatisfaction over tlio Arbitration Court's decision in an. omphalic manner. Tho Union hag- received further promises of financial aid, but rants aro not now, it is understood, being * oUd to assist tho striko, but to help tlio women find childron. Tho latest offers camo from tho Wellington and Westport districts. Tho public lioro wonder why the Blackball Union sofctles all questions 'by open voting—ono lot going to one side of tho room, and tho opposition to tho other' : sido —though their own rules provide for voting by ballot. : . _ , "Let us in' a modost way," says tho morning-paper, "and as a practical argument in this wretched strike, dare tho Blackball Union to settle by a voto by ballot whether tho men shall go back to work or hot. Let some ono who objects to acting tho fool any, longer demand that tlio vital .question of resuming 1 work or not bo settled by secrot ballot. Thero is a prevailing conviction that the silent minors want to go to work, only they are deterred by tho blatant howlers and open voting." I
