A motion: was introduced—" That' : the Dairy._ Show Committee 'find- further: accommodation nccessary for dairy, show purposes, and that the General Committee bo applied to for £300 to" extend the'present building." •Tho application., had:'been approved by, the Finance Committee.-; Mr;. J. .M. Johnston said the show, bad grown to such an ext-ont that, _ efan 'withtho new. addition, it was questionable whether there would be sufficient accommodation: - The Government also intended to make a large display. ,Mr.:J. Jarvis said.it '.was estimated that over 600 head of poultry' would ; be'exhibited. It was decided to :sanction; the additions. Messrs. Tanner,; Willis, ■ Sutherland, and Hodder were elected to vacancies'on' 'tho, conimitteo, the first two' till; January, 1910,'; and tho others till 1009.. .
