We would therefore particularly. draw your ' attention to; th'ei_ fact • that whilst all -other schemes : previously brought .; forward dealing: with tramways in' ( ' - these-districts 1 have'been based on a revenue producing from 20s. to 30s. per head per annum, wo havo taken the low figure, of 18s.

Wo are, : as'you', all must be, cognisant of tho fact that 1 holiday .trailic will, materially assist tho revenue.' Wo thereforo feel confideiititbat; tho 'above rates will'bo maintained and:'probably ■ exceeded.* vWol suggest that tho,routes might :bo divided ; into, fourteen one penny sections; these are sliown upon' tho, tracing .tinted'in colours'. Deducting the revenue 'as given above, viz-i £10,i50 from the annual expeiidj,turo of .'£12,290, the loss' over the first year's 'working,will be£lS4o.
