. A. PLEASANT SURPRISE. _ Numerous farmers,arc travelling far afield in search of' grazing for their stock; but winter grazing' seems to be an'-' impossible' thing„to fihd. A- farmer .at; Nireaha' 'sowed grass seed, on a burnt 'hill, towards the end of : January, and ,had given up all hopes of anything; coming; owing to the, hot dry weather. He was riot a little surprised, therefore, to seo the young grass come away nicely during tho recent warm rains
