Nowaday the hard-and-fast rules of the last century as to tho proper get-up for the .man. about town aro very , much relaxed. Even in. Piccadilly and Pall Mall the most unconventional clothes ;do riot look out of place. Shall we, when another decade has gone by, see tho, silk -hat and its-accompany-ing- tail' coat altogether relegated into the list of things that "havo been'-?—'-'Gentle-womaa,".
