AUCKLAND'S QUOTA? ' ' ' During the month of February (telegraphs our Auckland correspondent) 4415 bales of flax,passed through tho hands of tho Government Grader at Auckland (Mr. W. H. .0. Johnstoiio). This amount is equal to 770 tons, and is vaUwl at, £19,000. Tho total shows an advance of about 800 bales, or 150 tons over tho quantity of Inst month, and is tho highest recorded during tlio present season, winch began in June, and mil owl in two or three months' time. Tho grade has been fairly good during the month, but JVVHS to the small market difference betwecai , and : good fair grades, ■'many millers have been turning their attention to fair quality instead of good fair. Hitherto the difference between the prices of tie two grades; has been as low as 155.; whereas at tho wwoai'it should be 60s.
