FIRE AT DUNEDIN.
(BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) ' '; Dunedln, March 3. - 11' o'clock to-iiight firo was discovered in the heart of the city in.Princess Street, between/ Moray . Place mid ; Dowling Street. Tho. outbreak is, supposed 'to have originated in ' the premises of Mr. W. N. Blaikie, photographer. When the alarm was given tho fire appeared: to havo a strong hold, ;tind, as it was difficult to got at, fears of rather a serious conflagration woro entertained. /, Fortunately tho, brigade soon got the outbreak In hand, though it is not yot entirely suppressed.- Somo of the adjoining premises were damaged by smoke and water. It is impossible to give any estimate of the damago at present.
