ANOTHER HITCH. HEARING OF EVIDENCE IN CAMERA. MINERS OBJECT. 1 ' BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Sydney, February 28. A deadlock has occurred in connection with tho Special Coal Mining Court.. Counsel for the miners intimated that the Minors' Committee had decided that the commission had not been empowbred to tako evidenco in camera. ' They had, therefore, decided not, to hear evidenco in camera for any consideration, and all evidenco must, they said, be given in opon Court. The President (Judge Heydo.n) held that the commission had been empowered to take certain .evidenco. in camera, and that the committee's, attitude was they making'a mountain out of a molehill. Later, a 1 witness' on. behalf of the owners declined to give evidence in reference to the financial . position of - his ;■ company, excepting in camera. "■ >' .' ' i The, miners' counsel asked .for an adjournment to enable the miners' executive to consider the position. , ,i: The President adjourned .the .Court for a week, aiid said lie hoped wise counsel would prevail with the.miners.,,
