TE ARO BATHS.
THE REPAIRS AND ADDITIONS. At last night's meeting of tlio City Council, the Baths and Reserves Committee reported : —" That tlio Engineer lias submitted rough plans of the proposed addition to tlio To Aro Baths, The Committee ask J'or necessary power to have detailed plans'" "prepared for approval of the Council jukl tho calling for .tenders for the work." ■ Councillor Fisher said a large section of tlio public were anxious to know ivliat tho Council was going to do in regard to tho repair of the To Aro Baths. He hoped the Chairman would make a statement on the subject. ; Councillor Luko replied that the Engineer had informed the Committee that his attention was claimed by more urgent matters, snrli as drainage and water supply for the suburbs. The Committee .had fallen in wilh his vic.ws, but us soon as the plans wore completed (he Committee would be prepared to place them before the Council with a view to calling for tenders as soon as possible.
