M'Kilhip (Mast-erton Mountcd"l!ifles). ' Wellington:—Acting-Lieutenant P. do C. Brandon, Heretaunga-.Mounted Rifles; Aet--ing-Major C. D. Mackintosh, Ist Battalion Wellington Rifles; 'Acting-Captain A., ,M. MacDiarmid, Highland Rifles; Lieutenant C. B. Harton, Post and Telegraph Rifles (for certificate-as captain)..' Tho D Battery will parade to-night for tho first time with four guns, one of tho new weapons which arrived from Homo about a month ago having just' been allotted to the corps, after being duly examined and approved. The new gun is of the same pattern as the Battery's other guns. . It is expected that sufficient-members of the company will bo availablo to-night to,man all four weapons, but, in view,.of,tho addition, to armament, tho Battery will now. havo room for half a dozen or more recruits, '
