Tlio latest in "combines" is that whioh has recently been effected between tlio tailoring concerns of Messrs.' Bates and Lees and Mr. W. V- Ncwson, of this city; but as tho unification of theso businesses has only been arranged with a view to returning to tlio public in tlio way of enhanced values auy saving effected in such items as management, rent, etc., we aro confident that tho project will appeal to tho public, and obtain their support. The 'business of the "coinbino" is being carried on at the old premises of Messrs. Bates and Lees, in Willis Street.—Advt, V .7467
