CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR UNION.
Under the auspices of the Wellington Provincial Christian Endeavour Union, a wellattended rally was held last evening in the Baptist Church, Vivian Street. Tho Rev. Macdonald Aspland presided. The roll-call was. read by the' secretary' (Mr. Clark), those present responding, with Scriptural promise's. Tho Rev. J. T.; Pinfold, of ltangiora, President of i the ; Nqw Zealand - Christian Endeavour Union, then gave an address on "Enthusiasm.", Mr.-Pinfold stated that since. 1881 35,000,000 members had passed through tho school of Christian Endeavour Societies in different, parts. of the world, and had become active, workers in the Churches to which they belonged. Thero wore now four-: million \ active Cliristian Endeavoiirors in 70,000; societies. New Zealand had 9000 active' senior members and, 2COO juniors. Mr.-. Pinfold leaves this morning for Auck■laiig,' where he Will attend tho Methodist Conference and address Christian Endeavour
