Ex-General Delarcy, in unveiling a monument at Burghersdorp to burghers killed in the Boer war, declared that Afrikanders had omerged more than conquerors. The struggle had consolidated tho Boers of all tho colonies, who now would never bo deprived of South Africa. Professor Mullar described the monument as a beacon of blood.
