J3artlctf. conducted a service in the deceased's" late. residence, and afterwards officiated* at the. grave. The chief mourners were .Messrs. Ueorgo and 'Henry M'Grogor (sons), and Messrs. J. P. Luke, .I. W. Robinson, and.C. W. 'Aitken (sons-in-law). The pall-bearers .were' members of the Engineers' Institute. The .heads of local engineering establishments,., engineers' of nearly ■■ill tho' vessels in port, and representatives of the'.lnstitute'ot Marino Engineers took part in the funeral - procession, together with Mr. 11. Duncan (Chief Inspector of Machinery), Mr. J. Kydd (Inspector of Machinery for Wellington), Mr.;' J: : K. Logan (Superintendent of Electric Lines), the Hon. C. M. Luke, M.L.C., Mr. J. G. W. Aitken, M.P., Mr.' T. Y. Soddon,- M.P., Captain Seddon, Mr. IV A. Peterkin (Mayor of Lower Hutt), and many others. • A large number of beautiful wreaths were sent.
