Tho moil anchored; the boat at about 1.30, and about two and a half hourj . later; it'was noticed that tho littlo craft, had. disappeared. The. anchor rope had parted, arid' the boat was driven to sea. Tlio position of the men became serious when 0110 of tho'oars broko and left them at tho mercy of the. elements.
