: APITI STILL IN DANGER. (ni lEr.EOßirn— speoia:, -coitRBPOKnEST.) Fcilding, February 5. 'The fires around Apiti still continue their work of devastation, and reports received today state that it is impossible to form an accurate idea of the number of stock lost owing to the dense smoke, but there is : reason; to believe that the loss is considerable. '• A settler reports that the Table Flat Creamery, which has been threatened oil several .occasions, has at last been swept away. If this is correct, the position is extremely unfortunate for the dairy company, which ,a fow days ago had its factory destroyed. '.Tlid 'smoke'was exceedingly denso and suffocating last night.
