Seven. appHcatious were received for tho position of sub-matron, and Mrs. Darvall, the ciiairman, and, the secretary were elected a committee to interview the applicants on Thursday morning with a view to making an appointment.. The secretary reported that there were this month Its inmates in tbo Home—32 females and 07 males.
An extension of leave was granted Miss Kirk, one of the Institution visitors, who is indisposed- • Burlier in the day the Trustees held a meeting at the Oliiro Home, and inspected the proposed alterations to Hie buildings.
