BILLIARDS.
A billiard match (500 points up) between Gua Lefiler and "Joe Smith, two Australian professionals, was played on an Alcock's Standard table in .the Exchange Billiard Ilall last night, and resulted in a win for the latter on the post, ■ Lcßlcr's total being .-IS;). Smith's-largest breaks were 88, 57, 54, and 51, and Lcfiler's "1 and 56. Top of the table plav was conspicuous on Smith's part, whilst. Loftier did pood work all round the table. At the conclusion of the match, which was witnessed by a large gathering,. Leffler gave an exhibition'of fanoy and trick shots; and Smith of scientific shots.
