The present election -was forced through the Council refusing .to grant •. feuppUes. ■ It is contended that the ..Voting for. tl|o Legislative Council candidates "will give a fair - Indication of tho - probable voting for. the Lower House, and, if-.that is so, thfere appears to bo a strong possibility of tho Jameson Government being defeated.
