Puree of tomatoes. ; Summer. Pudding. . 'Summer Pudding. Method.—This''pudding may ~toe ' made with any kind of fruit. If the fruit will not easily 'soften;' it' should be- stewed before using it.; Butter a 'pie'dish, and then- prepare the' fruit' and some breadcrumbs. 'Raspberries moke an excellent pudding; Cover the-pie-dish'with a layer of breadcrumbs, and then fill the pie-dish with alternate raspberries, bread--o£umbs, sugar, \ and here and there a small - piece of butter. Have •breadcrumbs ana butter for the top layer. Then bake the pudding in the oven until-it is brown —from half ian hour to an hour. Then, if . possible, turn pudding on to a: hot dish, = and; sprinkler-castor sugar over it., Serve it either hot or. cold, with some whipped cream.
